Welcome ;)
This is page about one of arcade games, named KillKasha. It is now in pre-alpha stage, but you're allowed to do something even now. Information about project:- written in ANSI C,
- uses SDL library for displaing scenes, handling events and playing sounds,
- basic OS is linux, and right now there is win32 port,
- game uses maps, and map editor is included into package, so everyone can make its own world,
At now, there are two map editors: simple, text-based, and bit more intuitive, which uses gtk and sdl library. Default, only first is compiled, and for using the second, it must be compiled separately, by typing `make xeditor'. Unfortunately, on this moment there are any howto, which describes using of editors.
First, I must finish is implement all map components into game (like monsters ;)){done}, then I'll go to draw some chipset, heroes, and backgrounds. Next I must done is make some maps, and, maybe, something like campain...
Win32 port
I at last finish porting game into windows platform. It should run under any 32 bit windows (not tested on all). From now, I'll make two separately releases: one with game sourced (especially for linux users) and one - compiled - for windows users.
